Working for a small independent publisher means that I have been a part of every aspect of publishing and am confident in my ability to perform tasks to a high standard. I was promoted from Publishing Assistant to Commissioning Editor within a year. My duties involve organising the publishing schedule, liaising with authors, commissioning cover designs, editing, proof-reading, typesetting, arranging blog tours, creating promo graphics, social media marketing, and putting together Advance Information Sheets for upcoming releases. Working for a small independent publisher means that I have been a part of every aspect of publishing and am confident in my ability to perform tasks to a high standard.
My friendly disposition is a useful asset when talking with authors, many of whom have told me how hard working and lovely I am.
