Overview
I am an independent editor with fifteen years of editorial experience in the book publishing world. From 2005 to 2010, I was an editor at the renowned independent book publisher Soho Press where I acquired and edited literary fiction, memoir, and crime fiction, the same genres I continue to specialize in. I offer a range of editorial services, including developmental editing, substantive line editing, copyediting, and proofreading. I have a BA in English and history from Columbia University and an MFA in poetry at the University of Maryland, and I have taught writing, literature, and editing at the university level.
