My responsibilities include but are not limited to: handling all promotional mailings, coordinating with backlist and frontlist authors, managing social media, organizing and promoting book campaigns, and more.

As a publicity intern, I learned research skills, InDesign skills, and how to write formal pitches for upcoming books. I also used the Penguin Random House database to gather information for press kits and interview questions.

I ensured graduate student success and corrected students' mistakes by using the style guidelines handbook.

I have transcribed, edited, and published Stephen Bateman’s The Trauailed Pilgrime (1569). This sixteen-month project is now available on Amazon and CreateSpace, including an introduction and self-created footnotes.

I was assigned a fictional manuscript, Apple Creek Farm, and in charge of holding conference calls with the author and with my boss weekly to ensure the best work possible, learning the ins and outs of publishing.

I copyedited and proofread my professor's academic writings based on Renaissance themes of confession and memory, which is now a book on Amazon.

As an editorial intern, I proofread each chapter of a fiction, Christian novel before its publication.
