Overview

I'm the author of eight published books for kids and teens. I'm also a freelance journalist specializing in dance articles, writing for Dance Magazine and other DanceMedia publications. I studied dance and English literature in undergrad at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD, and got my MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in NYC. Past work experience includes magazine editing, freelance copyediting and developmental editing, and marketing copywriting. I love working with words, and look forward to making your project the best it can be!

During my time as an in-house editor, first at Dance Teacher magazine and then at Dance Spirit, I progressed from assistant editor to managing editor of a small staff.
