Hello! I am a freelance editor who has worked on books for published authors and unpublished authors, award-winning authors and first-time authors. I love storytelling and I love working with authors to help them tell their stories better. My strengths are in helping you refine your structure, pacing, and character arcs. I use screenwriting structure to help you build a framework for your novel, because I believe structure is for both author and reader, and that a book is a conversation between both author and reader. I'm an honest, but kind editor. I've been lucky enough to have great editors throughout my career and I've taken my cues from them!I also do sensitivity reads for Jewish rep (Reform or secular), LGBTQIA+ rep (nonbinary, queer AFAB, asexuality spectrum), and mental health (anxiety, depression, OCD, ED).
