Kate Willsky – Editor

Diligent editor and enthusiastic storyteller with experience editing a wide range of genres, both in-house at Chronicle Books and freelance.

Overview

I'm a storyteller and sharp-eyed editor, with publishing experience in-house at Chronicle Books and San Francisco magazine. I've edited memoirs, novels, children's books, and nonfiction, and am eager to help authors tell their stories as engagingly as possible.

My own writing has appeared on Vice, Vox, Medium, Huffington Post, Self, Food52, and, among other outlets. I also self-published a romance novel, Paradise Lust, under a pen name. I strive to bring writers' words to life while ensuring that their own unique voice shines through.
