Nice to meet you! I'm Kate and I’m a seasoned editorial designer specialising in illustrated non-fiction. I'm equal parts a creative problem-solver and a visual storyteller and I'd love to help you make your story shine.

Over the past 8 years I've been lucky enough to work with leading publishers and brands such as Laurence King Publishing, Carlton Books / Welbeck Publishing, Dreamworks / NBC Universal, Scholastic, Hachette Children's and Quarto Publishing, designing covers and internal layouts for bestselling children's and adult non-fiction titles, creating marketing assets and commissioning and managing illustrators.

I'm also a keen typographer and can create custom hand-lettering for covers and any other materials.

I love working directly with talented authors and micro-publishers, designing and typesetting fantasy, YA, craft, cookery and educational titles as well as designing author landing sites.
