After a decade of editorial experience with Penguin Random House, I moved to Oklahoma to begin a residency program with the Tulsa Artist Fellowship programming architecture and arts festivals, community exhibitions and arts and history educational programming for all ages. I continue to provide freelance editorial services as well as talent identification and development.
Penguin Random House
I served as an editor for Penguin Workshop, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers Group specializing in IP Development, Licensed Publishing and traditional acquisitions. I edited over one hundred titles in all genres for readers 0 to 17 including picture and board books, middle grade novels and series and young adult fiction and nonfiction. My books earned starred reviews and spots on The NY Times Bestsellers List and I maintain strong relationships with agents and industry executives in NYC and Los Angeles while cultivating talent in the editorially underrepresented American South, The Great Plains and Rocky Mountain regions.
