Karl Jones

Karl Jones – Editor

As a lifelong storyteller I enjoy working with authors and other creatives to bring their best narratives to life from draft to publication.

Overview

I am an accomplished book editor with over twelve years of experience within Big 5 Book Publishing and additional experience consulting authors working in self-publishing platforms and academic presses. I've edited, authored and co-authored more than two hundred book titles in licensed publishing, IP development programs, and traditional acquisitions, including NY Times Bestsellers and critically acclaimed award-winning fiction and nonfiction. In addition to my editing experience, I have written for, taught, and coached creative writing, storytelling and screenwriting for elite institutions including the Highlights Foundation, The University of Tulsa, NYU, The Moth, and the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. I am a past recipient of the prestigious five-year long Tulsa Artist Fellowship, and I am passionate about fiction and non-fiction narratives.
