Overview
I recently heard someone say that ghostwriters are like expats, the folks who move to a different country and jump headfirst into a new location and culture, becoming fully immersed in it. That sounded accurate. Whether I’m writing or editing, coaching or book doctoring, I'm like an expat who's fascinated by your world.
I bring curiosity, empathy, and expertise to every project. With a journalism background, I’m able to ask smart questions and help draw out the most compelling version of your story. I help authors find more clarity and conciseness while also retaining their unique voice. You’ll also have a sounding board and be working alongside someone who’s adept at anticipating the questions future readers and editors might have.
I provide honest and tactful feedback and nudge authors into crafting their message and story in ways that reflect their unique experiences.
I've collaborated on 19 nonfiction books in the past five years, in roles ranging from author coach to editor to ghostwriter, and sometimes a mix. It's an honor to be invited into someone else's world, and I look forward to learning about yours!
