Overview
I'm a children's book illustrator who loves mischievous characters, playful details, and vibrant palettes. I'm always down for hand-lettering! I'm particularly drawn to folklore, historical fiction, and stories featuring kids with wild, unbridled imaginations. I'm an excellent fit for middle grade, chapter books, and covers. Something similar to Mary Norton's The Borrowers would be a dream project!
Professionally, I'm timely, communicative, and quite friendly. I bring creative problem-solving, enthusiasm, and all the color to my projects. I work in Photoshop with some traditional media. I also have experience with gift and novelty books.
When I'm not drawing with a cat in my lap, I'm hunting for oddities and antiques, exploring the mountains, or hosting one-woman pastry-eating contests. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my husband and three spoiled cats.
