Executive Editor at James Frey's packaging company, where I was part of the team that created high profile series such as New York Times Bestsellers, DOROTHY MUST DIE and THE KICKS.

I worked with writers at every stage in their careers, from celebrities to first-time authors, to produce consistently excellent books and proposals.

Acquired and developed MG series as well as licensed properties. Participated in every stage of publishing from inception, including but not limited to: art direction, publicity and marketing, sales, and author care.

AlloyEntertainment

Apr, 2000 — Feb, 2005 (almost 5 years)

Created, developed, and edited New York Times Bestselling series, THE A-LIST and SUMMER BOYS. Edited many other high profile series such as FEARLESS and SWEET VALLEY HIGH. Was part of the team that created GOSSIP GIRL.

Working at Alloy taught me every aspect and phase of publishing including development, submissions, art direction, marketing and publicity, and sales.

Passing on this knowledge is my greatest joy.
