Experienced editor within various genres, including Mind Body Spirit, travel, cookbooks, and fiction (YA, women's fiction and thrillers).
Since leaving DBP & Watkins I have been working freelance.
I started as a Production Editor overseeing the production process of our titles, proofreading, writing and putting together BLADs etc. Later I became an Editor and I worked on titles for both imprints (MBS books, as well as cookbooks and sex books).
At RCW I learned the ins and outs of a literary agency and I predominantly spent my time reading through the slush pile for fiction.
My responsibilities included proofreading and editing press releases, daily newsletters (that were sent out to over 500,000) and company profiles. I also liaised with clients on a daily basis and drove sales through the site and emails.
