Jonathan Jordan

Jonathan Jordan – Ghostwriter

I save CEOs from writing bad books. 2025 Andy Award nominee, the ONLY ghostwriting award. Ghosted the most-awarded book on entrepreneurship.

Overview

Time after time, my author-clients have told me why they chose to work with me:

"Because you talked about storytelling."

Anyone can write "another" business book. Not everyone can tell a great story. But stories are idea packages. Deliver the right story to your reader and you'll get results. Helping authors unleash their Inner Storyteller is my favorite part of the job.

8 years as a social worker and 6 years in B2B sales gave me skills to help authors emotionally connect with their readers to drive results, all through storytelling.

In 2025, I was nominated for the Andy Award, the only publishing award given to ghostwriters. My client (a 9-figure serial entrepreneur) was even told his book couldn't be done. Now it's the most-awarded book on entrepreneurship ever (37 awards). Oh, and bonus: it also hit #1 on Audible and sold out of hardcover copies its very first week.

Other clients have used their books to attract 6 and 7-figure clients, launch platforms, land speaking opportunities, position themselves as thought leaders, and more.

Though I can't reveal the full list of 20+ titles I've ghostwritten due to NDAs, here's a description of my projects and clients:

+A former CEO of a $60 billion pharmaceutical company whose book spells out the 9 key concepts that guided his leadership journey.

+The CEO/founder of a billion dollar entertainment business that started out as a side hustle to survive unemployment.

+A former General Counsel of a national senior care company who went from a cannabis skeptic to CEO of a medical marijuana company.

+A serial entrepreneur and board member of a major shipping company who wants to pass on his business knowledge to the next generation.

+A Silicon Valley CEO whose book on ethical AI was called a "must-read" by NYT-bestselling author Deepak Chopra.

+A book that demystifies affordable housing, authored by the CEO of a multifamily-focused for-profit housing company.

+A Vietnam refugee who became the first Vietnamese pilot in the Marines and then went on to become a serial entrepreneur.

+The CEO of a workplace culture organization whose book presents a post-COVID view of creating a thriving workplace.

+The CEO/founder of a marketing agency with name brand clients who wanted to document the marketing basics for their specific industry of expertise.

+A former Fortune 500 consultant whose book has helped her attract premium clients to her own business.

+A successful sales leader from a top insurance company whose sales strategy book has led to acquiring clients and launching a sales course.

+The former CEO of a senior care organization whose leadership principles brought the company back from the brink.

As a ghostwriter, my job is to be a creative collaborator, to help you find the stories you've forgotten, create compelling narratives that sell ideas so that you have an unforgettable book.

But ultimately, this work isn't about me at all. It's about your ideas. Your stories. Your readers. Let's tell a story together.

Work experience

Self-employed

Jan, 2018 — Present
Since 2020, I have been an elite ghostwriter for Rebel CEOs and entrepreneurs who wanted to use reader-focused storytelling to translate their ideas into real-life results. My clients' books have earned over 50 accolades, including the most-awarded book on entrepreneurship ever, #1 on Audible, the Kirkus Star, the IBPA Silver Medal, and Publishers Weekly A-rating. In 2025, I was nominated for the Andy Award for Business & Thought Leadership, the only publishing award given to ghostwriters. My publishing collaborations have included working with Forbes, Greenleaf Publishing, the New York Times-bestselling editorial firm Kevin Anderson & Associates, and Big-Five traditional agency Lucinda Literary. Obsessed with storytelling, I'm also an award-winning screenwriter (Stage 32, 2018), a skill that I've used to help capture clients' voices on the page and make business and leadership concepts more visual for readers. You want results? Then you need storytelling, not a "process."
