I am a versatile editor, writer, project manager and researcher, with wide experience of publishing high-quality content across a variety of media in various business sectors. An adaptable, creative lateral thinker with a track record of successful troubleshooting and problem-solving, I possess strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills, and am also, I am told, a hugely supportive colleague with a fantastic and unique sense of humour. Over the last 14 years I have worked on academic textbooks for leading publishers, but I'm open to any opportunities or fields where I can showcase my writing talents and demonstrate my other skills.

• Created & enforced accurate costings & realistic schedules for all projects. To this end, I supported authors to ensure that all new manuscripts were delivered along agreed lines and to time.
• Had extensive creative and practical input on all projects; reviewing all manuscripts in depth as well as arranging peer review and endorsements, briefing text and cover designs, creating back cover & marketing copy and website resources, clearing third-party material permissions.
• Performed detailed market research in all subject areas, and on related course content and key competitors.
• Recorded my sales leads and contacts in SAP CRM and created opportunities from these.
