I am a freelance proofreader and copy-editor, a Professional grade member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, with experience across a variety of formats, both publishing and non-publishing. My work has included proofreading or editing books on mathematics, science and politics, as well as a wide range of non-publishing material. This has given me extensive experience in converting texts to make them language appropriate for different English-speaking markets (primarily the UK and North America).
I am a lover of fiction and am excited to get involved with new authors.
Having obtained a degree in English studies and spent several years teaching English to speakers of other languages, I have a passion for the language and for literature. I also have experience in writing (mainly sports related) for magazines and websites.
