Hello! My name is Jenny. I come from the Christian publishing industry, and I have dual expertise in writing and editing. Content development requires top-notch scavenger hunt skills. To be successful, you have to find the clues to connect the right message with the right audience. I am well-versed in the many rules of the English language, and I know the right time to keep them and the right time to break them. After all, to the reader, your message is only as valuable as it is understandable.

Together, my writing and editorial experience allow me to partner successfully with authors as we develop their unique message for their intended audience. As a Christian, I especially enjoy helping up-and-coming authors of faith, and my specialities include spiritual growth, marriage, parenting, eschatology, and church curricula. I offer two levels of editorial services:

1. Proofreading—This is strictly error correction (spelling, capitalization, grammar, punctuation, etc.).

2. Editing—This service includes your choice of developmental editing or copyediting, as well as citation development and fact-checking.

For both levels of service, I work in Microsoft Word and use the "Track Changes" and "Comments" features to communicate edits. (I cannot accept Pages or PDFs; however, I can download from Google Docs if that is your preferred program). Unless otherwise requested, I adhere to Chicago Manual of Style and the Christian Writer’s Manual of Style.

When requesting a quote, please submit a word count (good-faith estimates are acceptable) and a minimum of three sample pages of your manuscript. Please note that the manuscript must be complete by the first official day of collaboration, and any additions will require a separate negotiated rate.
