Overview
With over a decade of editorial expertise, I have worked with esteemed publishers like Today's Parent and Owlkids. As Assistant Editor at Chirp, Chickadee, and OWL Magazines, I crafted entertaining and educational content for young readers, along with refining fiction stories from contributing authors and writing engaging sections in each publication.
I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from UBC Okanagan, a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Creative Writing Graduate Certificate from Humber. My longlisted middle-grade novel and finalist picture book manuscript in CANSCAIP's Writing for Children Competition reflects my passion for children's stories in varying genres.
I have a keen eye for stories that intrigue kids’ interests and love crafting content that inspires young readers’ imaginations. I bring my passion for children's literature coupled with my deeply-detailed approach as an editor to each project—whether your manuscript needs in-depth copy-editing, story development, or a fresh pair of eyes.
