Janna Steagall – Designer

I have always loved children's books, and dreamed of illustrating and writing them since I was a little kid. While I have worked on writing for children, my real passion is in illustration. I love simple, bold designs, and especially focusing on stories and designs that promote awareness of global issues, increase children’s understanding of difficult concepts, and help people find ways to make the world a better place.

When I began art school for illustration I found myself drawn more and more to graphic design, ESPECIALLY typography. As I began my career in illustration I began redesigning the covers of my favorite novels. I love the combination of design with illustration and I loved hand lettering my covers and illustrating the main characters. I Hope we can work together to make something wonderful!
