Overview
I have always loved children's books, and dreamed of illustrating and writing them since I was a little kid. While I have worked on writing for children, my real passion is in illustration. I love simple, bold designs, and especially focusing on stories and designs that promote awareness of global issues, increase children’s understanding of difficult concepts, and help people find ways to make the world a better place.
When I began art school for illustration I found myself drawn more and more to graphic design, ESPECIALLY typography. As I began my career in illustration I began redesigning the covers of my favorite novels. I love the combination of design with illustration and I loved hand lettering my covers and illustrating the main characters. I Hope we can work together to make something wonderful!

After becoming a mom I decided to go into business for myself. I began a freelancing company that provides design and illustration to my wonderful clients.
Freshly Picked
Before having my first baby I was the textile designer at Freshly Picked. I worked with my team to design products for babies and moms. I was in charge of illustrating and designing pattern work for the kids clothing. I worked with licensors such as Disney, Universal, Care Bears and others. Before leaving I was promoted to Senior designer and also tasked to create email adds focused on illustrations, typography and textile design.
American Crafts
I worked as a product designer creating crafting products for a school semester. I was in charge of illustrating, creating textiles, adding typography and packaging design to craft products.
