Jana Spooner – Editor

I have worked in Christian publishing since 2013. I have worked primarily as a freelance editor, but I started as a full-time Acquisitions Editor at B&H Publishing with women's trade books. While at B&H, I worked directly with high-level Christian authors, including Candace Cameron Bure, Priscilla Shirer, and Lauren Chandler. I have worked on projects (either writing or editing) for a variety of authors, including Russell Moore, Jackie Bledsoe, Annie Downs, and others.

I have worked as a freelance writer and editor since 2014. As a writer, I have published devotions, magazine articles, and online articles, and just completed my first YA fantasy novel. As an editor, I have worked with both high-level authors and first-time authors. My editing experience includes Bible studies, trade books, devotionals, articles, and more. My specialty is working with authors who are just getting started. The keyword of working with me is flexibility! I take every project I work on and make sure it is a unique experience for that author.
