Proofreader with four years experience in the publishing industry. I have extensive experience checking that manuscripts adhered to journal standards as well as supervising a team doing the same. I have worked on numerous journals which ranged from the hard sciences all the way to Humanities. My own background is in Philosophy. I have MPhil in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews and a Ba (hons) from the University of Hertfordshire; in both I averaged a distinction. I am myself a published author, contributing chapters to the Blackwell pop-culture and philosophy series. I am a native English speaker with a keen eye for flaws in spelling and grammar.
