Logan Hill

Logan Hill – Editor

Experienced copy editor and proofreader with a meticulous eye and great follow-through, comfortable across genres and with tight deadlines

Overview

I have several years of experience working full-time both in trade publishing and as a freelance copy editor and proofreader. I’ve held a variety or positions at a literary publishing house, from production to editorial, and have a great deal of experience working with individuals and editors alike to polish their copy and clean up their page proofs. I’m comfortable working across a wide range of genres and forms, having worked on note-heavy tech books and short stories by National Book Award finalists alike.

I pride myself on always being attentive to an author’s voice and individual needs, leveraging a strong eye for detail while still being sensitive and kind in all my edits and queries. I recognize that countless hours can go into a book or essay or story, and I always treat each thing I work on with great care and respect. I’m used to turning around projects quickly, often completing book-length manuscripts in a week’s time, so I’m confident I can help make your writing the best it can be in a timely manner.
