Overview
I am a former editor at Penguin Random House and project manager for a multi-platform entertainment brand specializing in middle grade and young adult content. Currently I am a production editor for a children's and young adult imprint, with a list including novels, new editions of classic titles, and graphic novels.
As an editor, I have worked on debut novels, long-running New York Times best-selling series such as Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls and the Booktown Mysteries, and everything in between. I’m always up for a story that makes me fall for its characters, no matter the genre, and love to read fresh perspectives on classic tales and tropes.
I’m excited to work with authors at all levels of experience. I see editing as a conversation on the page--one that involves emphasizing the moments in a manuscript that truly shine, but also flagging places that could use adjusting. I strive to provide constructive guidance and support so that the author can emerge from the editing experience with confidence in their work.

Rebel Girls
I worked with the editorial, design, and sales teams to manage the creation of beautiful, informative children's books featuring hundreds of inspirational women. I hired and scheduled freelance copy editors, proofreaders, fact checkers, and illustrators. I read story drafts and provide feedback to our editorial team ranging from development edits to notes regarding text compliance with the Chicago Manual of Style and our house style guide. I also reviewed interior and cover color proofs and printer plotters, cross-checking both to ensure corrections were accurately captured.
Penguin Random House
I edited and acquired across the mystery/thriller, romance, and true crime genres for Berkley, working on both debuts and long running series. I also worked closely with an editorial director (action & adventure, military fiction) and an executive editor (women’s fiction and romance) and their authors. Additionally, I provided administrative support to the president of three commercial imprints. Notable authors I edited include NYT bestselling mystery author Lorna Barrett (Booktown Mysteries), Tessa Wegert (Shana Merchant novels), and Jennifer Chow (Sassy Cat Mysteries).
