Managing editor for the online scholarly journal AoB PLANTS, a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by Oxford University Press and sponsored by the Annals of Botany Company. Initiated and developed the managing editor position and worked intensively with the chief editor to represent, operate, and promote the journal.

Played a key role in creating and managing Encyclopedias of the Natural World, a series of single-volume scholarly encyclopedias focusing on major topics in the natural sciences. Organized and developed content in consultation with academic editors; facilitated and managed the work of more than 800 outside authors.
