Felicity Alexander – Editor

Hi! I’m an Editorial Director - most recently working with Cressida Cowell, Robert Muchamore and other bestselling children’s fiction authors and brands.

Prior to that I was Associate Publisher at an independent publisher - Welbeck - where I set up a new children's fiction list, working with both debut and established talent.

I love working with children's authors at all stages of their career, helping them tell the best story they can and bring it to market in the most effective way possible. I can help you with development editing or copyediting. I particularly like supporting authors with character development, pacing, worldbuilding and story structure - as well as fine-tuning on a line by line level. When I edit I will usually mark comments and notes on the text as well as giving overarching feedback, so that writers can see any suggestions in situ.
