Overview

I've worked in book publishing for more than decade, both in-house as a production editor at Sasquatch Books, Penguin Random House, and Amazon Publishing and as a freelance copyeditor and proofreader. I've worked with almost every type of content from romances and cozy mysteries to cookbooks and picture books.

I have a passion for punctuation and love the nitty-gritty aspects of copyediting and proofreading. And only focusing on those two types of editing (instead of more structural edits, like dev edits and collaborative edits) has helped me develop my skills in those specific areas, meaning I'll be able to give you exactly the level of editing you request without accidentally overreaching.
