Overview
More than twenty-five years ago, I cut my teeth writing and editing for children and then shifted to editing for adults. Most of the novels I’ve copy-edited are literary fiction, thrillers, and historical fiction, but I have experience with many genres as well as nonfiction books.
Among my clients are prolific authors who have repeatedly sought my services. These include the creators of hard-boiled techno-thrillers, heartfelt contemporary fiction, and crowd-pleasing sci-fi novels. They all appreciate the care and attention I give to their work.
Powered by my devotion to the written word, I bring my sharp eye, my keen ear, and my love of language to every book I work on. I encourage authors to think of me as a dependable advisor and guide. As a freelancer, I have edited more than seventy novels—literary, thriller, science fiction, romance, and more—and nonfiction books; fact-checked and proofread fiction and nonfiction; written scripts and nonfiction books for children and humor books for adults; and worked as a developmental editor on adult and children’s titles.
