Overview

I began my creative journey when I was in primary school - crafting stories, pictures and cards for my family - and friends and I've not looked back since!

From there I progressed to wedding stationery design and worked as a contemporary artist (with a brief stint in television production) before moving into the graphic design and illustration field. I took a seven-year career break to volunteer for an NPO providing design and marketing services as well as working as their creative producer for live events before returning to my first love: writing and drawing picture books for kids.

I've got experience of taking a book from concept, right through to production - and I love the process of bringing stories to life.

If you've got a story needing illustration and you think my style would suit, please do get in touch. I would love to chat to you.

I am so very grateful for her patience and expertise. The illustrations have created my book and I am so blessed that I chose her to work with. I would choose Emily every time, she helped me gain confidence in myself and answ...

She was always prompt and her illustrations are creative, whimsical, unique and colorful! She sprinkles the page with surprise details that you may not notice at first, but when you do, it brings a smile. Since she has a lot of experience, s...
