I have worked as a commercial non-fiction editor for over a decade, working on a wide range of genres, from travel writing to true crime, memoir to business, popular culture to popular science. I pride myself on the relationship I can build with an author, helping to make the process of editing their book as enjoyable and open as possible. I understand you have put a lot of work in to get to this point! Books that I have worked on have been shortlisted for various prizes, including the Orwell Prize and a CWA Dagger, and have been Times and Sunday Times bestsellers.

I am happy to help at any stage of the editorial process, from trying to explore an initial concept, to working through a first draft or polishing a final version ready to send out for representation. I can help to identify areas where I think more work may be needed in a manuscript, or give a much closer, line-by-line edit of your work.
