Overview
I'm a copyeditor with over seven years of experience and have worked on books published by Cornell Univ. Press, Harvard Univ. Press, and MIT Press. Before branching out on my own, I worked for the academic publisher M.E. Sharpe for over 20 years, where I wore many hats. My background includes Russian and East European studies, business, public administration, management, and economics, and I've also worked on books about wine, golf, and Latin America. Although my background is mostly academic, I am branching out into other areas, including fiction, and have been taking courses as such to support this endeavor.
I am very detail oriented and am happiest when working with you to polish your book. I will keep you in the loop with any questions during the editing process. I hope my professional experience and vast quirky knowledge (I do too many crossword puzzles!) can help you bring your book to fruition.
