Overview
I believe an editor’s role is to collaborate with and support the authors they work with. Authors have full control, and as an editor, it is my job to help you get your book to be the best it can be. Think of me as your personal cheerleader: I want you to be wildly successful and I will put everything I have into helping you get there. With editorial assessments, developmental and copy editing projects I create an editorial note. My notes are a large part of my process, and they are where I break down and detail each aspect of a work. I divide my note into sections, so there is very specific and actionable feedback. I also offer suggestions about how to go about revising, where to start, and what steps to take. I will make smaller notes, comments, and suggested edits in the word file using Track Changes.
