Elisabeth Nelson

Elisabeth Nelson – Editor

Bad boys, billionaires, and beach bums. Sweet, sexy, and suspenseful. Whatever flavor of romance, I'm probably into it. All editing levels.

Overview

I love working with authors—teaching, suggesting, and collaborating to build a better book. My job is to help you find your voice and clear away whatever might muffle it, whether that’s clunky sentence structure, grammatical errors, or plot holes. I'm very collaborative, and my services don't stop when I send back your edited work--you can always contact me with questions about how to fix sentences, story arcs, and characters. Romance novels are my main niche--erotic to inspirational. I especially love witty repartee, traumatic backstories, and sparkling characters. I'm LGBTQ+ friendly and love a good ménage. As long as the main characters take charge of their own destinies, I’m in!I've helped authors on the traditional publishing route and worked with indie authors and publishers (who else can list both Oxford University Press and Ellora's Cave on their resume?).I also have experience in trade religious non-fiction, including study Bibles and books about spirituality and activism. It's important to find a good match for you and your work. Let's talk about what you have, what you're hoping for, and how I can help.
