I'm committed to helping readers find the information they seek, especially when it can provide emotional support, guidance, or solace. To that end, I have a knack for noticing what's missing from explanations as well as when overwriting obscures an author's intended meaning.
I'm a supportive editor to authors, new and experienced. I'm calm under pressure, query thoughtfully about content, and develop style sheets that maintain consistency without squashing an author's writing style.
My work experience and social science and fine art degrees have given me a great foundation for psychology, self-help, health and wellness, social science, and art titles. I love diverse content and am nonjudgmental while also attuned to sensitive language issues and potential controversy.
