Designer with a passion for designing page layouts for book interiors. Worked on Children’s reference books as part of my former job at DK.
Overview
I am a designer with an experience of 10 years. I started my career working for Dorling Kindersley where I learnt best how to be an editor’s designer. I have designed pages for visual reference books primarily for children’s titles (age groups 7-14). Subjects ranging from Natural History, History, Biographies, and step by step guides. For past 5 years, I have been teaching Art and Design while also taking care of the print requirements such as the annual publications and calendars in organizations where I work.My love for creating layouts drives me to keep looking for opportunities in Publication Design. I believe in well-researched and editorially driven designing specially while working on reference books.I am easy to work with as I enjoy every part of the book designing process. I have the ability to grasp concepts quickly and I can work well within deadlines. I like to work closely with authors and editors. Apart from layouts, I can also help with simple 2-D graphics, infographics and illustrations for book interiors. Please do get in touch to know more about my services.Thank you.
