Overview
As a first-generation Cuban American, I know the importance of telling a story. So often, our stories are all we can carry with us, our only tool of connection. I like to find and tell those stories.
I've spent my career across three of the Big Five (HarperCollins, Hachette, and Random House) in unique roles: approaching public figures with book concepts; developing original stories for major licensed brands; and finally, leading a children's wellness imprint within RHCB. I've helped rock star Sammy Hagar write a cookbook and bestselling author Dan Brown create his first children's book. And, most important: I've stewarded first-time authors with BIG ideas so they have a chance to shine.
My editorial taste (and experience!) is free of genre or age limitations: it is simply to foster lasting relationships and tell a darn good story.
