Cynthia Knable – Editor

Award-winning writer and editor with 25+ years of experience in reference, educational, and test-prep publishing.

Overview

I am an award-winning, versatile writer and seasoned, intuitive editor with 25+ years of publishing experience, predominantly in educational and reference publishing. I have worked with all of the leading educational publishers in the United States to develop hundreds of books for both K-12 readers and general adult audiences. In addition to all standard academic subjects, my projects have included dozens of test preparation titles and large-scale print and electronic reference works on a wide range of subjects, including: ancient history, military history, U.S. history, Canadian history, weather, psychology, popular culture, English and American literature, current events, business, world mythology, and more. I was also Series Editor for Simon & Schuster's Enriched Classics Series (I put a couple of samples in my portfolio). In that capacity, I worked with literature professors to create robust supplemental material to accompany 100+ public domain classics.

I am a very flexible editor who can adapt to any style or approach a project might require.
