Chris Schuler – Editor

Versatile copy editor with extensive experience spanning books, magazines and newspapers. Illustrated books a speciality.

Overview

I'm a highly experienced and versatile copy-editor specialising in non-fiction, including complex illustrated titles. I provide comprehensive freelance services and consultancy, including planning, project management, research, copywriting, editing, proof-reading, layout and production. My expertise has been gained over many years working for internationally recognised names such as The Independent, the TES, the Daily Telegraph, World of Interiors magazine, Condé Nast Traveller, the Folio Society and the Rough Guides. I'm also a copywriter and award-nominated published author, so I can see things from a writer's perspective and always seek to preserve their individual voice while ensuring clear and effective communication.
