Oct, 2004 — Present

For the last 15 years I have been working as a freelance editor and project manager for publishers such as LexisNexis UK, Bloomsbury Professional, Hart Publishing and Globe Law and Business on a range of law and tax titles. As a freelancer, I am very self-motivated and organised. I am used to working to extremely tight deadlines and coordinating all elements of the production of a publication, taking a project from manuscript stage to the production of a final PDF, whilst liaising with authors and other freelancers such as tablers and indexers. When copy editing I pride myself on paying close attention to detail, not only with regard to spelling, language and grammar but also to the house style of each publisher.
