Cathy Suter

Cathy Suter – Editor

Formerly with Hachette Book Group and Columbia University Press. Over fifteen years of experience editing award-winning nonfiction titles.

Overview

My experience includes six years as the managing editor of The Permanent Press — an award-winning literary press, managing editorial experience at Hachette Book Group, and working as a freelance editor for Columbia University Press, Abrams Books, and Philosophical Library. This has given me extensive expertise in developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading. In addition, I've developed a personalized approach for helping authors self-publish.

Titles I've worked on include The Healing Power of Mindfulness by Jon Kabat-Zinn, The War on Normal People by Andrew Yang, Layered Money by Nik Bahtia, and Birth Without Fear by January Harshe.
