Catherine Waring - Editor

Shropshire, UK

British, ex newspaper sub editor, pretty much unshockable. Loves a challenge, hates goats cheese.

Overview

I am a journalist turned sub editor turned copy editor and proofreader, with 20+ years of experience. I've been in book editing for about two and a half years in which time I've worked on sci fi erotica, Regency Romance, chick lit, police dramas, transgender murder mysteries and even one where the heroine was a food fetishist. My particular speciality is helping writers create realistic British-sounding characters and helping turn fanfiction into original works.
