It has been my honor to help authors tell their stories since 2017. After graduating with a degree in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and completing the Columbia Publishing Course, I gained years of experience editing books for independent publishers, and anything else I could get my hands on, from blog posts to Instagram captions.

I offer developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading. My turnaround time is typically two to four weeks, depending on the extent of editing needed.

*Developmental Editing*

Take your work to the next level with detailed feedback. I'll provide an editorial letter and comments throughout your manuscript, addressing questions like:

• Is the manuscript well organized?

• Does it flow well?

• Are the events and characters realistic and sufficiently developed?

• Are there any plot holes or logical gaps?

• Are there any unnecessary or redundant areas?

• Are there any areas that feel incomplete?

*Copy Editing*

Are you saying what you mean? Copy editing ensures your reader experiences your writing as you intend. I'll edit for:

• Clarity

• Sentence and paragraph structure

• Word usage and repetition

• Stylistic consistency

• Natural-sounding dialogue

*Proofreading*

Don't let a typo or a dangling modifier detract from your writing. Proofreading is the last phase of the editorial process. I'll look for:

• Spelling and grammatical errors

• Awkward or confusing phrasing

• Inconsistencies

• Formatting issues
