Reviews (1)
'All of your suggestions resulted in improvements. The novel will have my name on it, but will be a better book because of your input, for which I'm grateful’ – F Cottam

‘Thanks to you for being so thorough with the MS. I've been through the process plenty of times over the years, but feel in extremely safe hands with you’ – C Simms

‘In twenty odd years since my first pro sale I've never had someone pay such incredibly close attention to getting the manuscript right. I feel very very lucky to have you on my side’ – S Savile

My editing experience spans more than five years. During this time I’ve developmentally edited commercial fiction published in the UK and US. I’ve collaborated with bestselling and first-time authors across crime, thrillers, horror, YA and more. As for non-fiction, I’ve worked across a variety of children’s activity books. I’m currently a Commissioning Editor for an independent publisher in the UK.

When editing fiction I analyse pacing, structure, plot points, character development, and writing and narrative style. I do this via Microsoft Word’s track changes feature. I pride myself on creating harmonious working relationships with my authors and believe in accentuating the positives just as much as highlighting the aspects I think could be developed further. You will have put your all into your writing, and you deserve an editor to do the same. I will do that for you.
