Camille Kellogg

Camille Kellogg – Editor

Camille is a YA, middle grade, and graphic novel editor with eight years of in-house experience at HarperCollins, Macmillan, and Bloomsbury.

Overview

I am a young adult, middle grade, and graphic novel editor who spent eight years working in-house at HarperCollins, Macmillan, and Bloomsbury. I am also the author of two adult romcoms published by Penguin Random House. I know from personal experience how daunting the experience of editing and querying your novel can be!

As an editor, my approach is personal, thorough, and tailored to your goals. When it comes to editing, my goal is to help you tell the story that YOU want to tell. My focus is always on bringing out and clarifying your voice, rather than imposing my own over yours. Whether you're on your first draft or your tenth, I can help you develop your characters, craft a strong plot, build thorough worldbuilding, keep your pacing tight, and polish your sentences until they shine!

How can I overcome the fear that my story idea isn’t original or good enough?
