Bee Brown – Designer

A passion for digital drawing, strong colour palettes, hand-drawn lettering and surface pattern design has allowed me to bring a diverse & versatile range of skills to the publishing industry, and with it a varied career.

With over 13 books published, I have had the pleasure to work on a wide variety of titles, creating illustrations & hand-drawn lettering for the educational children's market (primary & pre-school) and gift books. I have also worked on illustrations for magazine editorials, children's activity sets and surface pattern designs for fabrics.

If you're looking for something whimsical, beautifully illustrated & just that little bit different to set your next project apart, I'm your gal! Whether I'm drawing characters, animals, people, places or lettering, I'm always trying to infuse my work with gorgeous colour, charming details, plenty of personality and a generous helping of joy!

After accepting a brief, I like to provide clients with a video call so we can chat about the project on a more personable level. A round of rough pencil sketches will follow to make sure everyone is happy with the direction in which the work is heading. Full colour artwork is the final stage.
