Overview
My goal as a designer of fantasy, LGBTQIA+, and historical fiction is to capture the essence of a world and its characters.
As the Art Director of the young adult division at Scholastic, ranked sixth among the top publishers in the USA, I was given the opportunity to apply the skills I had gained working at Toys R Us for ten years. My familiarity with the young market enabled me to become the Creative Director of a team of designers at Scholastic.
Following my Master's in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, I studied fine arts at Parsons School of Design, where I learned traditional media like oils and watercolors.
I do not use stock photos in my work. To create covers, I work closely with authors using AI and Photoshop. I aim to capture your target audience's attention with the right genre signals and fresh ideas. Each cover stands out and can serve as an effective marketing tool.
Illustration, Cover Design, Typography, Promotional Material, and Book Trailer Videos are some of my services. If these images and trailers are used repeatedly in different formats and sizes, your book release campaign will be distinct, and they will create a recognizable brand for your new book.
