Overview
Hi, I’m Bridget!
Previously a production editor with Penguin Random House, I pride myself on the excellent author-editor relationships I’ve cultivated throughout my career. As a writer myself, I came into the publishing world with a unique sense of empathy and understanding for my editorial clients. I know what it’s like to feel like your work is your baby, and I excel at giving feedback that is both sensitive and productive.
I have worked on projects with the New York Times (Overlooked), James Beard-nominated cookbook authors (Aran Goyoaga), Hugo Award finalists (Michael Witwer, Kyle Newman, and Jon Peterson), and iconic IPs like The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I’m particularly knowledgeable about LGBTQ issues, neurodivergence/psychiatric disability, and feminism, and I’m always excited to work on projects that allow me to utilize that background.
I look forward to working with you!

Work experience
Penguin Random House
At Penguin Random House, I worked primarily on visual nonfiction relating to LGBTQ topics, feminism, home, design, lifestyle, sex and relationships, travel, illustration, history, and cookbooks. I also have experience with gift products like board games, card decks, journals, postcards, and stationery sets.
Raspberry Bow Press
I have been writing fiction and poetry for over a decade at the collegiate level, and I have provided editorial feedback for other writers in rigorous workshop settings. Most recently, I’ve been collaborating with Raspberry Bow Press. My prose and poetry can be found in The Washington Women’s Cookbook (2020) and Mothercraft (2022). I published my debut poetry collection, Puppy Teeth, with RBP in 2022, and I proofread A Reckoning by Nicole Pomeroy, a poetry collection published with RBP in 2023.
Girl Friday Productions
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Girl Friday Productions as a freelance editor, proofreader, and sensitivity reader on fiction projects.
