Brianna Flaherty

Brianna Flaherty – Editor

Former in-house editor at Penguin Random House, now freelancing with a strong focus on memoir, health, and wellness.

Overview

Hi there! I'm a freelance editor with a background in health and wellness non-fiction, and fiction/non-fiction works in translation. I love helping authors distill complex concepts, cutting-edge science, history, and personal narratives for everyday readers.I approach editorial work strategically, breaking down a manuscript into manageable sections for authors to structure and refine. This allows every part of your manuscript to receive equal treatment throughout the editorial process, and makes the overall work that much more cohesive and fine-tuned. My editorial letters offer specific feedback, general observations, and possible solutions for the structural integrity and flow of your book.I look forward to working with you!
