Although my educational and professional background is in international business, I discovered my love for editing after moving from New York to the Netherlands.
For over seven years, I have been working as an editor for an international fiscal company based in Amsterdam. A few years later, I founded my own editorial service to expand my passion for editing. I have had the opportunity to edit different types of content—children's literature, magazine articles, websites, legal and business documents; however, I soon came to realize that working on children’s books brings me the most pleasure. I especially love working on picture books and helping first-time authors bring their manuscripts to the next level!
As a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), I attend meetings, participate in workshops and critique manuscripts. I am also familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style and AP Stylebook.
I am a hardworking, meticulous editor who takes great pride in providing work that will add value to authors’ manuscripts and help them achieve their dreams of publishing literature that impacts young readers.
