Blake Atwood - Ghostwriter

Dallas, TX

I help busy professionals write and edit books.

Overview

I help busy professionals write and edit books.

Current and recent clients include counselors, pastors, and nonprofit leaders, as well as a documentary filmmaker, a staffing company, a tech startup, and a loan officer.

Depending on a client’s need, I provide ghostwriting, co-writing, nonfiction developmental editing and manuscript critiques, and both nonfiction and fiction copyediting services.

I’ve ghostwritten three nonfiction books, co-written two, and have authored two of my own.

See Amazon for evidence, or read what previous clients have said about my work on my website. I also blog on behalf of a few clients, but my main focus is crafting books and book proposals for my clients. Additionally, I can provide insight on the pros and cons of self-publishing vs. traditional publishing. I’m a fan of both, but the client’s ultimate desire for his or her book will dictate the proper route.

If you’re a busy professional in need of writing or editing help, let's discuss your project.

I wrote, curated, and edited content for 30 websites and 4 blogs, managed more than 20 freelance writers, and assisted with design and layout for print collateral.

FBC Georgetown
June, 2004 – June, 2010 (about 6 years)

I created church-wide communications for print, web, and video, developed, maintained, and updated the church website, provided on-site tech support, as well as filmed and edited news videos on a weekly basis.
