My name is Elena. As a book designer, layout artist, and typesetter fluent in both English and German, I have accumulated a wealth of international experience. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating one-on-one with self-published authors, sharing my expertise not only in graphic design but also in the broader field of publishing.

Conversely, I relish the opportunity to work with editors and small publishers, who often present a different set of questions and challenges. Regardless of where you fit in (or if you don’t quite fit either category), I would be delighted to have an initial conversation to learn more about your project.

Before we dive into your project, I'll ask a series of questions to better understand its scope and requirements. I am always eager to find a unique way for your book to enter the world, which often means creating an original artwork for the cover and possibly some unique fleurons if fitting. However, we can discuss the endless possibilities and determine what works best for you and your audience. Once we're on the same page and everything is clear, we can move forward to the main phase of the project.
