Ashley Millhouse – Designer

Hi! My name is Ashley, I absolutely love designing book covers. I've been art directing and designing eye-catching book covers for more than 15 years. My work can be found in bookstores and specialty shops all around the world!

I studied graphic design and upon obtaining my degree I began working in magazine design. In those early years I developed a love of editorial design and targeted my career to focus on designing books. I love devising a narrative and composing layouts and imagery that tell a story and draw the viewer’s attention. In between books design jobs, I have worked at marketing agency and as art director and stylist for a home decor photo studio.

My depth of experience in publishing, marketing and photo direction have given me a wide range of skills that I use to create stunning book covers. I am able to design in a wide variety of styles and always try to bring new ideas to the process. My goal is to capture a story and the authors vision, while introducing new concepts that had not been explored. In the end, you will have a beautiful, creative book that meets the needs of your market.
